Leona Marie Conrad

Leona Marie Conrad, 82, of Cumberland, Maryland passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Cumberland Healthcare Center.

She was born July 14, 1941 at Riverton, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Kennie Bennett and Pauline Burns Bennett.

She worked as a seamstress at Blind Industries for fifty years and was a member of the First Christian Church in Cumberland.

On May 14, 1977 she married Jearl Conrad, who preceded her in death on April 4, 2014.

Kenny “Buck” Bennett, Jr. of Riverton, WV

She was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Carol Hinkle.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, October 6 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, West Virginia.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 7 at North Fork Memorial Cemetery at Riverton with Pastor Mike Lambert officiating.
