Kenneth Wayne Glass

CHURCHVILLE – K. Wayne Glass, 77, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024.

He was born in Lynchburg on July 7, 1946, the son of Charles Lewis Glass and Evelyn Virginia (Coleman) Glass. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 1968 and then served in the U. S. Army until 1971. He earned his law degree in 1974 from the University of Richmond. Mr. Glass enjoyed a 50-year career in law and actively served the greater Augusta County region through many professional and community roles.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife, Martha Hanger Glass; two children, Jennifer Glass Baylor (Robert) and Jeffrey Glass; a sister, Kathy Brooks (Darrell); and two grandchildren, Amalia and Frances.

He was a faithful member of Loch Willow Presbyterian Church where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 11 in Loch Willow Presbyterian Church, officiated by Pastor Reed Hopkins. A reception will follow the service in the church fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank or the Valley Mission.
