Kenneth D. Layman

CHURCHVILLE – Kenneth Dearmont Layman, Jr., died on October 14, 2023. He was born May 26, 1945.

Surviving are his wife, Patsy Louise (Shumaker) Layman; four children, Charles Layman and wife Dana, Diana Sorrells, Randy Layman and wife Kim, and Phillip Layman; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, October 19 in the chapel of Bear Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will Charles, Randy, Phillip, Matthew and Tyler Layman, and Steve Kisamore. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry, Eddie and Jeff Layman, and Gary and Ray Kisamore.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
