Kathy Ann Smith

Kathy Ann Smith, 59, of Mount Solon, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at her home.

She was born on February 28, 1964 and was a daughter of Doris (Falls) Cave and the late Tommie Cave.

Kathy was a member of the Emmanuel Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed reading and crocheting.

Kathy was united in marriage on February 28, 2000 to Wayne Smith.

Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are her children, Dusty (Jennifer) Miller, Rebecca Gladwell, Matthew Gladwell, Ashby Gladwell, and Robyn Gulachok; three sisters, Pam Hartman, Barbara Kennedy, and Phyllis Cave; eight grandchildren, Whitney Miller, Tommie Miller, Joshua Campbell, Isaac Campbell, Brandon Miller, Dakota Miller, Adrain Howdyshell, and Coltlee Howdyshell, a great grandchild, Lalya Miller; a special friend, Nancy Talley; her furbaby, Gizmo, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A service celebrating Kathy's life will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Emmanuel Church of the Brethren with Pastor Tom Williams officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service, PO Box 41, Bridgewater, VA 22812, to assist with funeral expenses.
