Karen Vincent

May 1, 1960 - January 28, 2024

Karen Jeanne Vincent, 63, of Fishersville and formally from Coventry RI, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at her home. She was born in Rhode Island on May 1, 1960, a daughter of the late Henry A. and Carman A. (Joyal) Vincent, who still survives.

She lived most of her life in Coventry and West Warwick RI , she had many jobs through her life. She moved to Virginia 18 years ago. Karen worked as an administrative assistant with Community Housing Partners. While in Virginia she did God's work, helping to feed the poor and help people in need. She was an active member of Faith Point Christian Center in Waynesboro, where she worked the sound system. The last ministry she served was Yeshua House of Prayer in Greenville, VA. She was a huge fan of Covenant Band and followed them to many events. She was known as the “Taffy Lady “at the Cheese Shop in Stuarts Draft. She enjoyed cooking and loved all farm animals, especially horses. Karen was full of life, always making people laugh. She will be missed by many friends and family members.

In addition to her mother, Karen is survived by her cousins: Claire Moody, Ron Vincent, Jeanne Costanza, Richard Flurey, Diane Lipman, Dottie Dietz, David Vincent, Raymond Vincent, Ann Marie Vincent-Brady, Rosemarie Vincent, and Suzanne Vincent; her God-daughter, Amanda Marie Justa; special friends, Doreen Bilsky, Darlene Anglin, Rosemary Clark, and Nancy Mohme; as well as her extended family and church family.

Karen is also survived by her beloved cat, Stewart.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at 6:30pm on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Bethesda House of Prayer, 22 Wayne Ave., Stuarts Draft, VA, with Steve Wolcott officiating.
