June Marie Coffman

June Marie Coffman, 85, of Maurertown, VA passed away Friday, June 19, 2026, at her home in Maurertown, VA. Mrs. Coffman was born in Toms Brook, VA, on December 21, 1940, the daughter of the late William Franklin and Katherine Ruth Lichliter Rau. She was a graduate of Toms Brook High School and a member of the Christian Newcomer United Methodist Church in Toms Brook. Mrs. Coffman loved her cats and a good yard sale. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James William Coffman, Sr., her stepfather Stanley Bright, her daughter Robin Hensley, and a sister Gloria Jean Polk. Survivors include her children James W. "Jimmy" Coffman, Jr. (Brenda) of Maurertown, VA, Tammy Sue Bowers (Willie) of Ohio, Kim Dellinger (Ernie) of McLean, VA; a son-in-law Jim Hensley of Edinburg, VA; her grandchildren, Alison June Dellinger and William Bowers, Jr.; one great-grandchild Preston Bowers; her half-brother Larry Bright along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A graveside service for Mrs. Coffman will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at St. Stephen Cemetery with Rev. Nip Crites officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Ernie Dellinger, Farrell Lichliter, Danny Edmonds, William Bowers, Sr., William Bowers, Jr., and Allison Dellinger. Memorials may be made to Blue Ridge Care, 333 W.
