June Arlene Gott

Our loving mother, June Arlene Gott, 87 years old of Fishersville, Virginia, sadly passed away on April 13, 2023. She is predeceased by her son Roy Testerman, and is survived by her daughters Karen Gillen of Clarksville, Virginia and Donna Wynkoop of Dundalk, Maryland, and grandchildren Roy Testerman, Jr., Christopher Gillen, and Savannah Langley. She is also survived by her three best friends and sisters Jean, Joan, and Joem, her son-in-law Patrick Gillen, Jr., and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A longtime resident of Calvert County, Maryland and front desk clerk for the Bel Alton Motel, June also resided in Anne Arundel County, Maryland where she was the Operations Director for Kensington Physical Therapy, managing over 10 locations for many years.

She loved antiques, interior decoration, and nature – especially the Chesapeake Bay. An avid crafter, she became well-known regionally for her doll-making, displaying her artwork at the prestigious Sugarloaf Crafts Festival and Corcoran Art Gallery in Washington D.C.

A devoted mother, she was always there for her children and will be greatly missed.

June will be laid to rest in a private ceremony.
