Juanita Mae (Vest) Fansler

Juanita Mae (Vest) Fansler, 99, of Bridgewater, VA, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024.

She was born on January 16, 1925, and was a daughter of the late Kernel and Lucretia (Chenoweth) Vest.

Juanita was a member of Bridgewater United Methodist Church, loved the outdoors, decorating for the seasons, she was well known for her Christmas lights, and was an avid gardener.

Juanita was united in marriage on March 1, 1958 to Walter Wilton Fansler, Jr., who preceded her in death on Sept. 30, 2005.

Juanita is survived by a son, Wilton Fansler and wife, Rebecca, of Dayton, VA.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Bridgewater.

A service celebrating Juanita's life will be held at 11 AM on Friday, Feb. 9th, at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
