Joyce Ann Via

Joyce Ann Via, 68, of Grottoes, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026.

She was born on April 7, 1958, and was a daughter of Curtis "Buck" and Margaret (Morris) Via.

Joyce is survived by a brother, Curtis (Pamela) Via; a sister, Shirley Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by brothers, Melvin and Jerry Via.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 PM on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Grottoes.

A service celebrating Joyce's life will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, September 24th at the funeral home, with Pastor Jimmy Kite officiating. Burial will follow at Port Republic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Harrisonburg/Rockingham SPCA in Joyce's name.
