Joyce Ann Kershner

March 25, 1949 - January 22, 2024

Joyce Ann Kershner, 74, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024. She was born March 25, 1949 in Harriston, Virginia, daughter of the late Robert Lee Breeden and Dorothy Elizabeth Breeden.

Joyce was retired from World Test Systems.

Joyce enjoyed cooking, gardening, spending time at their camp, but mostly she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and all of her family, who she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joan Phillips.

She is survived by her husband, Mack McClintic Kershner, Jr.; her children, Laura Ann Craig, Kevin Dwayne Kershner and his spouse, Renee and Ashley Denise Cerminaro and her spouse, John; her grandchildren, Justin Craig, Crystal Almond, Stephen Sharp, Joseph Sharp, Clayton Kershner, MaKayla Kershner and Kahlan Cerminaro; 11 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Roy Breeden and wife, Linda and Robert Breeden and wife, Wanda; her sisters, Judy Via and husband, Rodger, Linda Monroe, Betty Nelson and husband, Randy and Susan Painter and her fiancé, Mike True.

Graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 26, 2024 at Edgewood Cemetery, 4517 Rockfish Rd., Grottoes, VA 24441, conducted by Pastor John Craft. Active pallbearers will be Kevin Kershner, Clayton Kershner, Hunter Monroe, Austin Monroe, Jacob Lewis, Josh Lewis, John Cerminaro and Jeff Monroe.

Following the service the family will be at the home of Kevin and Renee Kershner.

Friends may pay their respects and view Mrs. Kershner anytime on Thursday, January 25, 2024 between the hours of 11: 00 A. M. until 6:00 P. M. at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville.
