Joshua Allen Knight

Joshua Allen Knight, 38, of Bridgewater, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025.

He was born on March 4, 1987 and was a son of Pamela Gail Thompson and the late Gregory Allen Knight.

Joshua had worked at Lakeside Book Company. He loved the mountains and outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He was an avid softball player and made numerous connections in various leagues. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Philadelphia Eagles, basketball and baseball. His greatest joy came from watching his kids play ball.

In addition to his mother, Joshua, is survived by his children, Brinleigh Knight, Tucker Knight and Bucklie Knight; two step children, Paisley Baugher and Brayden Gordon; two sisters, Megan Knight, and Brooke Whitmore; grandfather, Richard Thompson; grandmother; Velma Knight; step-father, Tim Whitmore; step-mother, Cindy Knight; step-sister Tara Glick; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandmother, Shirley Thompson and grandfather, James (Johnny) Knight, and aunt Doris Flynn.

A service celebrating Joshua's life will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 6:00 PM at Crosslink Community Church with Pastor Noah Radtke officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Johnson Funeral Service, PO Box 41, Bridgewater, VA 22812, to assist with funeral expenses.
