Jerry Wayne Smiley

Jerry Wayne Smiley, 85, of Bridgewater, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at White Birch Estates.

He was born on September 18, 1938 and was a son of the late George, Jr. and Pearl (Michael) Smiley.

Jerry retired from Nielsen Construction. He served his country in the US Army. Jerry was an avid golfer, a life member of the Bridgewater Fire Department, a member of the NRA and loved hunting. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Jerry was united in marriage to Sandra (Staten) Smiley. June would have been their 60th anniversary.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Jerrica Nixon & husband Kevin and Scott Smiley & fiance' Pam Rosen; grandson, Brett Smiley & wife Carli; and great grandson, Beau Smiley; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Kennedy, and two brothers, Garnett Smiley and Ted Smiley.

Services will be private.
