Jerry Wayne Huffman

Jerry Wayne Huffman, 70, of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

He was born on December 29, 1954 and was a son of the late Arbry and Nancy (Hilbert) Huffman.

Jerry had worked for Farm Bureau prior to retiring from Walker Manufacturing. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. His greatest joy came from being a dad and granddad.

Jerry is survived by his son, Dakota Huffman; two sisters, Barbara Knicely and husband Larry, and Tammy Whitmer; two grandchildren, Ezra Huffman and Nile Huffman, and several nieces and nephews.

A service celebrating Jerry's life will be held on June 2, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Bridgewater. Burial will follow at Briery Branch Church of the Brethren Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 PM prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
