Jerleen "Jeri" Nan (Hicks) Fox

Jerleen “Jeri” Nan (Hicks) Fox, 80, wife of Carl Robey Fox, Jr. of Captain Heizer Ln, Fort Defiance, Virginia passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Augusta Health in Fishersville, Virginia.
     Mrs. Fox was born in Washington, D.C. on April 4, 1944, and was raised in Falls Church, Virginia by her parents, the late William McKinley Hicks and Mary Geneva (Smith) Hicks.
    Mrs. Fox was a member of Crosslink Community Church in Rockingham, Virginia, and enjoyed singing with the choir. She was a devout Christian who loved to read the Bible, do daily devotionals, and pray for her family. She taught with the Augusta Stone W.R.E. program for many years. Jeri was artistic and enjoyed crafting, cooking, attending plays and spending time with her grandchildren.
    In addition to her husband of sixty-two years, Mrs. Fox is survived by two sons, Jerry Dean Fox of Fauquier County, Virginia and Randy Neal Fox and his wife Abby of Bristow, Virginia; a step daughter, Cheryl Jean Villalobos and her husband Matthew of Sterling, Virginia; a brother, Perry N. Hicks of Richmond, Virginia; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 
     A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Matthew Kirkland.
     The family will receive friends following the service. There will be a reception at Crosslink Community Church, 4904 South Valley Pike, Rockingham, Virginia, following the service and visitation.
     Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
