Jeffrey Scott Wine, 62, passed away on April 11, 2025, at the Hospice of Shenandoah. He was born on September 30, 1962, in Staunton.Jeffrey is survived by his loving mother, Betty Lou Hicklin Wine, who will cherish his memory forever. He is also survived by his daughters: Nicole Wine, Nichole Saginario, Elizabeth Snyder, Samatha McCauley, and Kristine Wine, who each carry a piece of his warmth and spirit within them; his brothers, William Keith Wine and Thomas Edward Wine; his sisters, Cheryl Ann Tice and Sandra Andersen; and his twelve grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Merlin Clarence Wine.Throughout his career, Jeffrey worked diligently as a technician in medical testing. His contributions to the field exemplified his commitment to the well being of others and demonstrated his work ethic and integrity. He took pride in his work and impacted many lives through his dedication.Jeffrey's passions extended beyond his profession. He was an avid hunter and a devoted fan of football, passionately supporting both the University of Georgia Bulldogs and the Dallas Cowboys. His enthusiasm for sports often brought together friends and family, creating memories that will be cherished forever.Animals held a special place in Jeffrey's heart that provided him with companionship and joy. He loved spending time outdoors, often playing horseshoes at Gypsy Hill Park and engaging in spirited games at local campgrounds. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Pleasant View Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in Staunton with Reverend Dr. Todd Lilly officiating. Friends can stop by Betty’s house at 807 Geoffrey ST, Staunton, VA 24401 to offer their condolences.
