Janet G. Jones

Janet G. Jones, 78, of Grottoes, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

She was born on July 11, 1947, and was a daughter of the late Marcell Eutsler and Violet (Roadcap) Eutsler.

Janet was united in marriage to Wayne Jones who preceded her in death.

Janet attended of Grottoes Church of God for many years.

Janet is survived by a son, Michael Eutsler; a brother, Buck Eutsler; sisters, Nancy Shifflett, Christine Raynes and Ruth Jarvis; caregivers, Gail McDaniel, Megan Roach, and Wendy Meadows; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents and spouse, she is preceded in death by seven sisters and one brother.

A service celebrating Janet's life will be held on May 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Grottoes with Pastors Andrew Williams and Glenn Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
