Iolanda Darlane Volanth

Iolanda Darlane Volanth, 77, of McGaheysville, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

She was born on November 17, 1945 and was a daughter of the late Henry Lilly and Lela (Kite) Lilly.

Darlane enjoyed cooking, baking, shopping at thrift stores, and planning reunions and holidays for her family. She graduated from Montevideo High School, class of 1964, and attended Madison College. She had worked as a bookkeeper and in customer service at numerous places in the Harrisonburg area.

She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Baker; life partner, Jeff Berger; sister Claudia Zukovsky; brother, Dennis Lilly; two granddaughters, Autumn Price and Jenna Price; her great grandson, Kyson Organ.

A service celebrating Darlane's life will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Frieden Farms in Mt. Crawford, VA.
