Herbert "Frank" Wichael

Frank passed peacefully at home, on the farm, with his family, the two things he loved and cherished the most on Tuesday, July 21st 2026.

He was born October 14th 1943 in Sangersville, Virginia, a son to the late Lester Paul and Elizabeth Adaline Wichael.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his brother Paul.

He is survived by his brother James, his sisters Ruth Williams and Mary Margret Parker, his wife, Sharyn, their two children, Lester Craig Wichael (Tanja) and Shay Wichael Kelley (Rick), and their grand children: William Zachary Walker (Emma), Lauryn Elizabeth Kelley (Miranda), Devon Adaline Wichael, and Chelsy Marlene Morgan.

Frank will be remembered as a hard worker who did anything for his family and friends; someone who you never had to ask what was on his mind because he was sure to tell you.

Please refrain from home visits and join the family at a celebration of life and memories that will be held on Saturday, July 25th from 2PM-5PM at Mossy Creek Presbyterian Church. The burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, home visits, or meal drop offs the family encourages you to donate to Mossy Creek Church or your local fire and rescue organization.

Arrangements are entrusted to Johnson Funeral & Cremation Service in Bridgewater.
