Helen Harmon Pullin

Helen Harmon Pullin, 89 of Stuarts Draft, Virginia passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026.

She was born on March 30, 1937 in Greenville, Virginia, daughter of the late Harry A. Harmon, Sr. and Julia Gertrude (Jennings) Harmon. Helen attended Wilson Memorial High School and graduated with the class of 1955.

Helen attended Mint Spring United Methodist Church and Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, William H. Pullin and her second husband, George S. Elstad and by her brothers, Wilson P. Harmon, Harry A. Harmon Jr., Fred W. Harmon and her sister, Mary Ann Anderson.

Surviving family members include her daughter, Barbara Pullin Sholes; her son, James W. Pullin and his wife, Lori; her stepdaughter, Molly Elstad – Gortler; her grandchildren, Christopher S. Sholes, Joseph W. Sholes and his wife, Emily, Laura Kearney and her husband, Burke, Cyndi Sachs and her husband, Matthew and Helen’s great grandchildren, Abigail Sholes, Emily Sholes and Nixon Sholes.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00pm, Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Fishersville, conducted by Larry Barrett.
