Greenville Summerson Clark
Greenville Summerson Clark, 68, of Stuarts. Draft went to be with his Lord on Saturday June 3, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Topeka, Kansas on September 6, 1954 to the late Granville Summerson Clark and Ida Maria (Lasrus) Clark.
Greenville married Marcia Gail Hall on June 19, 1999 in Stuarts Draft. Greenville attended Waynesboro High School. He was a welder by trade and also spent many years in hotel maintenance. Greenville loved motorcycles and learned to ride at nine years old form his older brother, Alex. He remained a Harley fan and rider all his life, taking his final ride on Thursday afternoon on. June 1, 2023. Greenville was wonderful with children and every child in the neighborhood came to him for help or to play.
Greenville was preceded in death by, his parents, three brothers, Alexander Summerson Clark, Hamilton Summerson Clark and John (Jon) Paul Clark.
Greenville is survived by his wife, Marcia Hall Clark of Stuarts Draft; his son, Dane Patrick Clark and wife, Megan of Greenville; step daughter, Elizabeth Hall Snyder and husband, Billy Ā of Raphine; his sister, Viola Wyant and husband, Moat of Afton, his grandchildren: Travis Lowery, Taylor Lane and her husband, Lucas, Trinity Baker, and Dorothy Hall; his great-grandchildren :Addie, Ainsley, Alden, and Lani.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday June 11, 2023 at 4pm at Destiny Family Center, 36 Rose Ave, Stuarts Draft, VA 24477 with Pastor Chuck Balsamo presiding.
A meal will follow the service.Ā
