Graham M. Slusher

Graham M. Slusher, 72, of Waynesboro, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023.  He was born June 22, 1950 in Stuarts Draft, son of the late Graydon Slusher and Allien P. Slusher.
Graham was a 1969 graduate of Wilson Memorial High School.  He served in the U. S. Navy from October 20, 1969 until January 21, 1972.  He was a lifetime member of the Wesleyan Church of Waynesboro and a lifetime member of DAV Chapter Skyline 30.  He loved being outdoors, hiking, walking and camping.
The family would like to offer special thanks to Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah, Carrington Place, Daleville and Medi Hospice of Roanoke.  Additionally, a special thank you goes out to William “Billy” Bragg and niece, Ashley Dillion.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Cindy Slusher.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Debora Slusher; his step-daughter, Sherry Sipe and her husband, Keith; his step-grandchildren, Corey Quick and Madison Sipe; his brothers, Gary Slusher and his wife, Wanda and Mike Slusher; his sister, Sharon Hansen and her husband, Mike; a special friend, Randall Timm and family members, Wally and Edie Coker, LaDonna and Frog Rea and Teresa Madison and his fur babies, Peaches and Ruger.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P. M., Thursday, May 25, 2023 in the Chapel of Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville, with the Rev. Stanley Belcher officiating.
There will be a viewing at the funeral home from 12 Noon until the hour of the service, 1:00 P.M.
Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park with Navy Military Honors. Serving as active pallbearers will be, Christopher Wood, Travis Stone, Cody Madison, Chris Dillion, Ray Murray and Randy Coker.
