Glenn Thomas Bailie, 84, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at The Legacy at North Augusta in Staunton. She was born on November 16, 1941, in Arlington, to the late William Wirt and Lillian Ruth Fenwick Thomas. Glenn grew up alongside her two sisters, Reva Ann Mundorf and Irma Fay Eckerman. On August 22, 1964, she married her devoted husband, James Wesley Bailie. Together, they built a life centered around family, love, and countless cherished memories. There was rarely a quiet house when Glenn was around. Music was always playing, with everything from Joan Baez to Fleetwood Mac filling the rooms. She loved a good crab meal, plenty of laughter, and was always ready for an adventure. Glenn truly enjoyed life, and some of the best memories she leaves behind are the simplest ones - good music, good food, lots of laughter, and time well spent with the people she loved. Above all, Glenn will be remembered for the joy and laughter she brought to those around her and for the love, traditions, adventures, and memories she leaves with those who knew and loved her best. She was the loving mother to Tracy Bailie Mullins and her husband, Randy D. Mullins and Katherine Bailie Tacy and her husband, Christopher L. Tacy. She was a proud grandmother to Matthew Wesley Bailie and his wife, Catherine, Jacob Todd Puffenbarger and his wife, Sierra, Rachel Elaine Tacy, and Joel Thomas Tacy. She was especially delighted to become a great-grandmother to Ada Elaine Puffenbarger. Glenn also leaves behind Valerie Locklear Rohr and her husband, Doug, who held a special place in her life and were truly considered family. At this time, there are no services to announce. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675). Henry Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
