Glenn P. Flavin

CHURCHVILLE – Glenn Patrick “Buggs” Flavin, Jr., 67, passed away Friday (December 29, 2023) in his home.

Son of Glenn Patrick “Pat” Flavin, Sr. and June Joyce (Frye) Flavin, he was born in Staunton on March 11, 1956. He was a graduate of R. E. Lee High School and was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church. Buggs was a long-time employee of Liphart Steel prior to retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed refinishing furniture. He loved animals, especially his dogs, “River” and “Trinity.”

Buggs was preceded in death by his mother and by a sister, Debbie Flavin. He is survived by his father, Pat Flavin; his beloved wife, Cathy (Huffer) Flavin; a son, Michael Andrew Ralston; three sisters, Cathy Shipe (husband Pat), Donna Calhoun (husband Mike), and Dee Hanger (husband Mark); a brother, Scott Flavin; a grandson, Jaxson Ralston; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held in Augusta Memorial Park.
