Gary Myers

Gary Clifford Myers, 66, of Bridgewater, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

He was born on April 18, 1959 in Harrisonburg and was a son of the late, Melvin Clifford Myers and Clara Jean (White) Reid.

Gary attended Turner Ashby High School. He had a great personality, was a very creative and artistic person. In his younger years he loved to play ball. He worked in construction and did odd jobs.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Chelsea Tisdale & husband Baron; his sister, Mary Jane Rawley & husband Dennis; step-father, Greg Reid; three granddaughters, Lyla Tisdale, Jade Tisdale and Kayli Urbanczyk; his girlfriend and caregiver of 32 years, Pat Duran; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his daughter, Chantel Myers Zaccagnino, sister, Barbara Wise, brother, Billy Joe Myers and step-mother, Nellie Myers.

A service celebrating Gary’s life will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral & Cremation Service in Bridgewater.
