Gary Michael Kronk

Gary Michael Kronk, 71, of Strasburg, VA went home to be with Jesus Wednesday evening, June 21, 2023, surrounded by and lavished with love from his wife, children, and grandchildren.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Virginia Hills Church in Front Royal with Pastor Eric Reploeg officiating. All are welcome.

Gary was born in Shenandoah County, Virginia on August 10, 1951, to the late Paul Leroy Kronk and Evelyn Stoneburner Kronk. He was a 1969 graduate of Strasburg High School, lifetime member of the Strasburg Rescue Squad, long-standing member of the Toms Brook United Methodist Church, and of Virginia Hills Church. He retired from Shentel after 43 years of service and owned and operated K&K Autobody for over 50 years.

He was servant-hearted and sacrificial all of his life and was known in the Strasburg community to be a trusted helping hand and ever-faithful friend. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Patricia Richard.

Survivors include his wife Rhonda Renee Rinker Kronk; his children Amanda Aman (Randy) and Justin Kronk (Blair); 3 grandchildren (Mia, Finn, and Tanner); two sisters Gloria Kronk and Linda Breeden (Greg); and 5 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to Blue Ridge Hospice, as their Hospice team was truly a gift from God.
