Garnett "Binky" Owen Stanley

Garnett Owen "Binky" Stanley, Jr., 58, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by family on Tuesday July 30, 2024 in Grottoes, Virginia.

Binky was born and raised in Bowling Green, Virginia. He absolutely loved riding motorcycles, and anything to do with race cars. Binky had a bond like no other with his Mother. She was and forever will be his person.

Binky was preceded in death by his father, Garnett Stanley Sr., his daughter Michelle Jett, his grandmother Betty Martin, and his grandfather Charlie Martin.

Binky is survived by his mother, Peggy Jones and step father "Pappy" Danny Jones, two daughters Casey Hare (Nelson) and Tiffany Stanley; two brothers, John Stanley (Sharon) and Shawn Stanley (Angie); six grandchildren, Skylee Jett-Woodall, Jacob Pitts, Autumn Jett, Caleb Pitts, Brendan Jett-Woodall, and Kyla Jett-Woodall; his aunt Sandy Epperson (WG), and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 2, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Grottoes with Pastor Mark Wingfield officiating.

Arrangements are entrusted to Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Grottoes.
