Frances Marie Cook Love

Frances Marie Cook Love, 86, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 18, 2026. She was born in Waynesboro on October 5, 1939.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Renis Dinkle and Lucy Naomi (Sandy) Cook; her husband, Ernest Love and son Johnny; her brothers, Donald Cook and Howard Cook and her sister, Caroline Cook.

She is survived by her loving children: daughter, Rebecca Peiler (husband, Brandon), son, Tate Love (wife, Shannon); her beloved grandchildren, Stuart and Duncan Love; her sister, Jean Pittman and numerous nieces and nephews.

Frances was a graduate of Piedmont Community College and the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago. She had a 38 year career in healthcare at UVA Medical Center.

Over her lifetime, Frances has been committed to teaching, preaching and sharing the good news of Christ.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, April 23, 2026, in the Chapel of the Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, Fishersville, conducted by Pastor Roger Browning. Interment will follow in Augusta Memorial Park, Waynesboro.

The family will receive friends, at the funeral home, from 12 pm until the hour of the service on Thursday.
