Eunice Graham Twitchell

STUARTS DRAFT – Eunice (Graham) “Bootsie” Twitchell, 86, of Stuarts Draft, passed away Monday (July 18, 2022) in The Meadows at Stuarts Draft Christian Home.

Born July 28, 1935 in Deerfield, she was a daughter of the late Hugh Olen and Alice (Armstrong) Graham.

Bootsie graduated from Churchville High School and was employed by Genesco for a period of time. She was a devoted homemaker. Bootsie was compassionate and generous; whether by making baby blankets or offering kind words of support, she enjoyed being a help to those around her. She attended Valley Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Cacciapaglia; and two brothers, Hugh Howard “Biddy” Graham and Eugene “Gene” Graham. Surviving are her husband, Mike Twitchell; two sons, Thomas Peters and wife Susie of Churchville, and Jerry Peters and Debbie Johnson of West Augusta; three grandchildren, “Tom Tom” Peters Jr. and wife Sabrina, Jacob Peters and Torry Morris; two step grandchildren, Brian Fitzgerald and Heather McAllister; three great-grandchildren, Isaac Peters, Chase Morris and Leighton Morris; four step great-grandchildren, Hunter Fitzgerald, Leah McAllister, Liam McAllister, and Noah Norman; and three step great-great-grandchildren, Parker Smith, Jackson Smith and Sydney Sheets.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 22 in Deerfield Community Cemetery, officiated by Pastors Larry Strickler and Brett Perrett.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday in Bear Funeral Home.
