Ethel Mae Coss Agee

Ethel May (Coss) Agee, 94, of Afton passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at the Augusta Health Shenandoah Hospice House, Fishersville.
Born May 28, 1929 in New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Earl Lloyd and Dora (Polwin) Coss.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emitt Agee; sisters, Marjorie Campbell-Shope, Helen Corbett, and Ileen Quick; and brother, Earl Lloyd Coss, Jr.

Survivors include her brother, Harold Coss and wife, Verna of Afton; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Augusta Memorial Park, 1775 Goose Creek Road, Waynesboro with Chaplain Matthew Atlee officiating. All who plan to attend are asked to meet directly at the cemetery.

There will be no formal viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
