Elmer "Buddy" Leroy Huffer

Elmer Leroy "Buddy" Huffer, 61, of Rockingham County, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at his home.

He was born on October 17, 1963 and was a son of the late Elmer "Buck" and Ella Mae (Puffenbarger) Huffer.

Buddy had worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Howdyshell Excavating. He was a wonderful cook, loved shopping and looking for bargains, being outside keeping his yard and flower gardens pristine and traveling.

He is survived by his daughter, Heisha Huffer & fiancé Shawn Wales; life partner, Tracy Stallard; sisters, Mary Sosa & husband Isidoro, and Barbara Morrison & husband Mark; granddaughter, Karsen Wales, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honoring Buddy's wishes he will be cremated and all services will be private.
