Ella Rebecca Spiker

Ella Rebecca “Becky” Middleton Spiker, 88, of Gore, VA passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Winchester Medical Center.

A funeral service for Mrs. Spiker will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Stover Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m.

Mrs. Spiker was born in Strasburg, VA on March 15, 1935, a daughter of the late Benjamin Howard and Georgia Mae Marshall Middleton. She was a 1954 graduate of Strasburg High School. Becky was a devoted homemaker and Mother and attended Fairview Lutheran Church in Gore, VA. Becky attended Iowa Christian Bible College and she served as a missionary to the Indian reservations in both North and South Dakota. Becky loved spending time with her family and playing bingo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Sammy, Cecil, Daniel, Donnie Middleton, Minnie Andrews, and Louise Feathers.

Survivors include her children Robin Largent (Danny) of Gore, VA, and Robert “Bob” Spiker (Becky) of Front Royal, VA; her grandchildren Sarah, Chris, Scott L., Scott H., Thomas, Adam, and Abby; nine great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild along with a special friend Gloria Spriggs.

Pallbearers will be Scott Hamman, Abby Spiker, Chris Spiker, Scott Largent, Thomas Largent, and William Grigsby, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Spiker and Sarah Messick.
