Edith Marie Gillam

Edith Marie Gillam, 99, of Gerrardstown, WV and formerly of Ohio passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at the home of her daughter in Gerrardstown. Mrs. Gillam was born in Paintsville, Kentucky on January 9, 1927, a daughter of the late Sanford and Minnie Qualls Collins. She was member of Cornerstone United Pentecostal Church in Winchester, VA and the wife of the late Clarence Gillam. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sons Clarence Roger Gillam and Jimmy Gillam, three grandchildren Paula Lynn Gillam, Christopher Arron O’Neal, and James David Gillam, II, two great-grandchildren Landon Richards and Zander Kamenelis along with five sisters, and seven brothers. Survivors include her daughter Pamela Kamenelis (John); three sons James David Gillam, Ricky Gillam, and Kenneth Gillam (Anna); 25 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of life and homegoing service for Mrs. Gillam will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Cornerstone United Pentecostal Church, 189 Parson Ct., Winchester, VA with Rev. Jeff Dillon officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at O.R. Woodyard Funeral Home, 1346 S. High St., Columbus, OH 43207 then at 12 noon proceed to Obetz Cemetery, Obetz, OH for a graveside service.
