Douglas Albert Hodson

Douglas Albert Hodson, 65, of Stephenson, VA passed away Monday, August 28, 2023, at Winchester Medical Center.

A graveside service for Mr. Hodson will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Walnut Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Hodson was born in Winchester, VA on November 26, 1957, a son of the late Alber and Cornelia Ann Wymer Hodson. Mr. Hodson worked as a heavy equipment operator. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Diane Hockman.

Survivors include his children Daryl Hodson of Strasburg, VA and Brian Spears of Sterling, VA; his grandchildren Bennett Spears and Shepherd Spears; the mother of his children Donna Hart; his siblings Phyliss Darr (Wayne), Timothy Hockman, Lisa Long (Rick), Wilby Hodson (Diane), Cornelia Hodson, and Lester Hockman all of Strasburg, VA.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice.
