Dorothy Elizabeth Ringgold

Dorothy Elizabeth Ringgold, 82, of Grottoes, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

She was born on July 31, 1942, and was a daughter of the late Richard Sharp and Trudy Harlow.

Dorothy retired from Graham Packaging.

She is survived by a daughter Deborah (Kenny) Sions; brother, Larry Harlow; sisters, Rebecca Stirewalt, Betty Wilfong, and Sharon Harlow; grandchildren, Greg Dean, Chris Sions, and Kelly Gray; great-grandchildren, Colton Dean, Aidan Gray, Bryson Gray, and Sage Sions.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Ceddie Harlow and Gerald Sharp.

The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 PM on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Grottoes.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 PM on Monday, June 9th, at Arbovale Cemetery in Arbovale, WV.
