Dolly Mae (Sensabaugh) Johnson
Dolly Mae (Sensabaugh) Johnson, 93, widow of Harry Lee Johnson, of Staunton, drifted from this earth peacefully on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at her residence.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Augusta County, Virginia on January 20, 1930, a daughter of the late Walter Thomas Sensabaugh and Glady Lelia (Reed) Sensabaugh.
Dolly was a graduate of Middlebrook High School and Dunsmore Business College. She worked for 17 years at Holiday Shoe Store and 9 years at Smith’s Transfer Trucking. She was a member of Linden Heights Baptist Church and attended the Dorcas Sunday School class.
Dolly greatly enjoyed flower gardening, traveling, dancing, decorating and visiting with friends and family whom she loved dearly. She also took great pride in being a mother, preparing many holiday meals and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents and her loving husband of 68 years, she was preceded in death by a brother, Rodney Thomas Sensabaugh, Sr.
Surviving, is a daughter, Cynthia (Johnson) Rudin and her husband, Michael of Waynesboro; two grandchildren, Layla Reid and her husband, Wil of Staunton and Karla Clark and her husband, Alex of Stuarts Draft; eight great-grandchildren, Lexi, Wilson and his fiancé, Addison, Jackson, Ella, Glady Belle, Madison, Hannah and Alexander; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 4, 2023 at Augusta Memorial Park by Pastor Luke B. Smith.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is handling her arrangements.
