Dianne Grace (Augar) Louvet
Dianne Grace (Augar) Louvet, 80, wife of Michael Ames Louvet, of Craigsville, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at her residence.
Mrs. Louvet was born in Ilion, New York on February 15, 1945, a daughter of the late Frederick James Augar and Eva Beatrice (Clemons) Augar.
Dianne was a member of Parnassus Hilltop Church and had a deep passion for quilting. She shared her love for the craft by teaching others and working at Rachel’s Quilt Patch. In 2012, she founded the Parnassus Quilts of Valor group, part of the national Quilts of Valor Foundation. Through her unwavering commitment, Dianne and this group created more than 400 quilts to honor and comfort service members and veterans in and around the Shenandoah Valley.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Louvet was preceded in death by a brother, Doug Augar; and a sister, Nyla Clark.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of fifty-six years, are two sons, Matthew Louvet, Sr. and his wife, Megan of Salem, VA and Christopher Louvet and his wife, Jennifer of Hanoi, Vietnam; a brother, Ronnie Auger and his wife, Lois; two sisters, Joann Stafford and her husband, Gene and Terri Donnelly and her husband, Tim; and six grandchildren, Matthew Louvet, Jr., Nicholas Louvet, Zachary Louvet, Justin Louvet, Amelia Louvet, and Willa Louvet.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2025 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Reverend Shawn Cook.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
