Dee Gossard

Dee Ann (Parsons) Gossard, age 85 of Petersburg, WV passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg, WV.

Dee was born on August 6, 1938 in Richwood, WV and was a daughter of the late Dewey C. Parsons and Evelyn B. (Peters) Parsons. In addition to her parents, Dee was preceded in death by one brother, Douglas L. Parsons.

Dee is survived by two sons, Scott Gossard and spouse Tamera of Petersburg, WV and Jeffrey Gossard of Etters, PA and one daughter, Vicki Harris and spouse Steven of Martinsburg, WV; two grandchildren, Dena Eye and spouse Ashley of Moorefield, WV and Aaron Gossard of Wheeling, WV; four great grandchildren, Ayden Gossard of Petersburg, WV, Weston Eye, Rowan Eye  and Oliver Eye all of Moorefield, WV; one brother, Charles E. Parsons and spouse Beth  of Romney, WV; two nieces, Abigail Parsons and Emily Parsons and one nephew Gregg Cave.

Dee was a 1956 graduate of Petersburg High School and attended Marshall University.  She retired from West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources after 37 years.
