David Lee Morris

David Lee Morris, 74, of Grottoes, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026.

He was born on January 19, 1952, and was a son of the late Clyde E. and Mary (Garrison) Morris. David was an avid softball and golf

He was united in marriage to Wilma (Quick) Morris, who survives.

David is also survived by four children, Danny Morris, Michael (Amanda) Morris, Shannon (Kathy) Morris, and Michelle Morris; brothers, Clarence (Betty) Morris, Eddie (Angie) Morris, and Wayne (Lorie) Morris; sister, Connie (Victor) Rosson of Grottoes; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren;sister-in-law, Loretta Morris; brother-in-law, Joe Angles; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Morris, a sister, Nancy Angles, and best friend, Gary "Cotton" Rosson.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Grottoes.

A graveside service celebrating David's life will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 22nd, at Port Republic Cemetery, with Pastor Mark Wingfiled officiating.
