David Franklin Craig, 84 of Staunton, Virginia passed away peacefully October 5, 2023 at his home on 1611 N. Belmore Avenue. He was born on June 15, 1939 in Augusta County to the late John and Rosa Craig.
David was a realtor and served on City Counsel. He was a member of the Augusta Lions Club and Linden Heights Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Birgit; son, David Jr. and wife, Cohnnie; sisters, Joan Ross and Jean Elmore; nephews, Geoffrey and Paul; niece, Alexandra; and his two fur babies, Heidi and Carlie.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Philip Craig; and his brothers-in-law, Edward Ross and Emory Elmore.
A private service will be held at Thornrose Cemetery.
