David Bryan Newlen

David Bryan Newlen, 66, widower of Amelia Denise (Fitzgerald) Newlen, of Staunton, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at his residence. 
Mr. Newlen was born in Staunton, Virginia on May 27, 1957, a son of the late Edward Bryan Newlen and Delores Jean (Robertson) Newlen. 
David retired from Rice Tire as a shop technician and was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins. 
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Newlen was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas W. Newlen; a sister, Gail Cash; and a granddaughter, Tyleighah Newlen.
Surviving, is a daughter, Chasiti Mae Newlen and her significant other, Richard Johnson; two brothers, Robert Robertson and his wife, Ellen of Staunton and Ricky Newlen and his wife, Suzanne of Waynesboro; a sister, Dana Cash of Churchville; and five grandchildren, Aveah Johnson, Brianna Bowden, Carter Johnson, Haydn Johnson, and Braydn Johnson. 
A celebration gathering will be held any time after 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at his residence, 2639 Locust Avenue, Staunton, Virginia  24401.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is handling his arrangements.
