Cynthia "Cindy" Ann (Sprouse) Sutton

Cynthia Ann “Cindy” (Sprouse) Sutton, 77, widow of Dean Ernest Sutton, Sr., of Wyndham Hill Drive in Fishersville, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023 at Augusta Health in Fishersville. 
Mrs. Sutton was born in Staunton, Virginia on October 12, 1946, a daughter of the late Russell Wilbert Sprouse, Sr. and Rosalee (Gaskin) Sprouse. 
Cindy retired from the Department of Motor Vehicles as a District Secretary. She enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and cooking.
In addition to her parents and husband of 32 years, Mrs. Sutton was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell W. Sprouse, Jr., Eugene D. Sprouse, and Kenneth W. Sprouse.
Surviving, is a daughter, Cathy A. Wales and her husband, Sam of Fort Defiance; two brothers, Robert Supinger and his wife, Mi Suk of Florida and Brian Supinger of Staunton; a sister, Judy Lee Sprouse of Craigsville; a sister-in-law, Deborah Sprouse of Fishersville; seven grandchildren, Christopher Supinger, Josey Wales, Heather Sutton, Megan Wales, Derrick Sutton, Faith Supinger, and Joseph Supinger; three great-grandchildren, Noah Dean Wales, Conrad Supinger, and Margaret Supinger; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. 
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 in Augusta Memorial Park.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is handling her arrangements.
