Crystal Brinkley

Crystal Elaine Brinkley, 66, of Woodstock passed away Sunday, Dec. 17, 2023, at Winchester Medical Center.

A celebration of life service for Crystal will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2023, at Building Faith Church at Mt. Hebron, 2582 Mount Hebron Road Strasburg, VA. 22657.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Crystal was born in Hot Springs, VA. on September 26, 1957, a daughter of the late Alvin Lee and Madeline Phyllis Baldwin Brinkley.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Phyllis, Linda, Debbie, Tina, and Scottie.

Crystal is survived by her daughter, Ann Michelle Miller; son, Jason William Stokes; grandchildren, Mikayla Ashlynn Groger, Mekhi Zane Warner, Amelia Ann Stokes, Carmella Marie Stokes, Alexander Maddox Stokes, and Harper Elaine Miller; great grandson, Atlas William Richard Warner; siblings, Dewey Brinkly and wife Alma of Verona, VA., Mary Sue Smith and husband Eddie of Falling Spring, VA. brothers-in-law, Jimmy Carter, Mike Holsinger, and Mark Cote' and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary Jane Engleman was like a sister to Crystal.

Crystal will be missed by her “BFFs”, Michelle & Harper who lived with her. She was a light to everyone that she met and cared for.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to Building Faith Church at Mt. Hebron, 2582 Mount Hebron Road, Strasburg, VA 22657.  All contributions will be used to offset final expenses.
