Cleameth Stull
Cleameth H. Stull 94, of Petersburg WV, formally of Gettysburg PA, went to his heavenly home on August 9, 2023, at the Grant County Rehab Center in Petersburg WV. Born Feb 16, 1929, in Gettysburg PA., He was the son of the late Simon Peter & Linnie Belle (Harshman) Stull.
In addition to his parents, Clem was preceded in death by his wife, Freda Feaster Stull, a daughter, C. June Stull, seven brothers: John Stull, Charles Stull, Amos Stull, Jack Stull, Lloyd Stull, Kenneth Stull & Paul Stull & three sisters: Linnie M. Wilt, Helen R. Mickley &Carrie B. Stull. Clem was the last remaining sibling of his immediate family.
He is survived by his children: Christine (Doug) Alt, Donna (Randy)Warner of Petersburg, WV, and a son Daniel (Regenia) Stull of St, James, MO.
Also surviving are 2 Grandsons, Terre (Patty) Leatherman & Christopher (Jessica) Stull; 5 Granddaughters, Rhonda (JC) Schell, Charity Pastrana, Tara (Jeremy) Pratt, Brittany (Whitney) Hinkle &Cassandra (Eli) Hatcher; 9 great granddaughters; 9 great grandsons, 7 great-great granddaughters & 3 great-great grandsons & 10 Nephews and 6 Nieces.
Clem spent most of his career driving for General Motor's, and occasionally would help out his friends at Pitzer Trucking, R. H. Crawford Trucking, and his nephew at JNS Trucking until his retirement.
After his retirement from General Motors, He loved being outdoors! He loved gardening, taking family crabbing, fishing, hunting at his son-in-law's cabin, family vacations & especially flying radio controlled airplanes which he built.
His favorite saying was: "You don't stop laughing because you grow older; you grow older because you stop laughing".
The love of music was instilled during his childhood. He was a bass singer, skilled guitar &banjo player, which also included the mandolin. He was a Christian by faith, was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, Gettysburg, before moving to WV to be near family. He attended Dorcas Baptist Church for a short time and looked forward to his frequent visits with Rev. Johnny Goldizen from the Antioch Church of God.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
