Clark Gable Miller

Clark Gable Miller, 92, of Strasburg, VA passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Miller was born in Saumsville, VA on November 27, 1933, the son of the late William Albert and Reba Irene Ritenour Miller. He was a 1953 graduate of Strasburg High School and member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church. Mr. Miller worked as an auto mechanic at Minton & Mazingo Garage in Toms Brook, VA and retired from R.E. Stickley and Son Ford dealership in Strasburg, VA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Louise Stickley Miller and a sister Beatrice Louise Miller. Survivors include his children Tarilyn M. Racey, Tracie A. Miller (John), all of Strasburg, VA and Marshall A. Miller (Kris) of Manchester, TN; his grandchildren Marielle Thoburn (Andrew), Brannon Racey (Leah), Austin Daniel Miller, and Molly Margaret Miller; his great-grandchildren Jaxton, Jude, Asher, Declan, Stella, Beau, Eden, Genieve, Blaise, Adaline, Isabelle, and Delilah along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral service for Mr. Miller will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Pastor Chris Flohr and Rev. Sonya Williams-Giersch officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home from 6-8 P.M. on Monday evening. Pallbearers will be Jaxton Thoburn, Jude Thoburn, Asher Thoburn, Andrew Thoburn, Austin Miller, and Brannon Racey.
