Charlotte “Sis” Grace Redman Moats, 78, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Shenandoah House in Fishersville.She was born on July 19, 1946, in Petersburg, West Virginia to the late Charles Jacob Redman and Anna Elizabeth Redman.Charlotte devoted her career to Fiberspun where she worked as a machine operator.Known affectionately as “Queen Bee,” she possessed a vibrant personality that she will most be remembered for. In her free time Charlotte found joy in listening to music, which brought immense joy to her life. Her love for music was a testament to her vibrant spirit and zest for life.She is survived by her husband, Jose Luis Grande; her son, Delmar Theodore Moats; her daughters, Frances Christine Moats Moore and Tina Denise Harvey; her sister, Vera Ellen Redman Moats; a special niece, Jackie Robinson; ten grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Homer Wesley Moats; her daughter, Barbara “Cricket” Ann Redman; her brothers, Harry “Mick” Glenn Redman, Neil Wesley Redman and Paul Allen Redman; and her half-brothers, Richard “Dick” Roscoe Redman and Charles “Bobe” Branson Redman.A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 26, 2024, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Bill Myrtle officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM.
