Carole Jean Coen, 71, of Port Republic, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.
She was born on December 17, 1952 and was a daughter of the late Lewis and Virginia (Rhinehart) Rutz.
Carole was united in marriage to Jeffrey Coen, who survives.
Carole is also survived by a brother, Gary Rutz; sister, Joan Rutz; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Gordon Rutz.
A memorial service celebrating Carole's life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 11 AM at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Grottoes, with Chaplain David Kite officiating.
