Carol Kemp

Carol Judith (Reindollar) Kemp, age 79 of Petersburg, WV passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg.

Carol was born on February 8, 1944 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and was a daughter of the late John Howard Reindollar and Mary Catherine (Riley) Reindollar. 

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Robert O’Neil “Bob” Kemp in 2014; one sister, Patricia M. (Reindollar) Reynolds; one brother, Thomas H. Reindollar.

Carol is survived by one brother, Paul Michael Reindollar of Citra, Florida;  Children, Lynne Redmon of Moorefield, WV and Dr. Elizabeth A. Kemp of Staunton, VA., Christopher R. Kemp and Adam A. Kemp both of New Orleans, LA; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. 

Carol worked at the Moorefield DMV until her retirement. She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church in Petersburg, WV.

In honoring Carol’s wishes, her body will be cremated. A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date.
