Carol Etter Fox

Carol Etter Fox, 71, of Staunton, passed away on Saturday, December 30th, 2023 at the Shenandoah House in Fishersville.
Carol was born in Augusta County to Earl D. Etter and Nancy (East) Etter on January 3rd, 1952. She was married to Robert Fox on April 8th, 1972 in Waynesboro. Carol worked as a bank teller for before retiring in order to spend time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a practical woman who loved her family with all her heart.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents.

Carol is survived by her loving husband, Robert C. Fox of Staunton; her daughter, Sara Dean with husband Travis of Waynesboro; and her grandchildren, Alex Dean and Hannah Dean. She is also survived by a brother, Eddie Etter of Fishersville, as well as several nieces and nephews and her K9 sidekicks, Poppy and Coco.

Following cremation, a graveside memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, January 4th, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Crimora with Pastor Tim Bohlmann officiating.

The family requests that any memorials be given to the SPCA or other animal charity of choice.
