Brittney Nicole Mongold

Brittney Nicole Mongold, age 35 of Petersburg, WV passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA.
 Brittney was born on January 19, 1988 in Butler, PA and was a daughter of Kevin Cobb of Buckhannon, WV and Maureen Kennedy of Portersville, PA.
 Brittney is survived by her parents and her husband Cody Allen Mongold; one son, Liam Cooper; four daughter, Kaylin Cooper, Isabella Cooper, Arianna Cooper and Aya Mongold; one step-daughter, Bailey Mongold; four brothers, Johnny McLaren of New Castle, PA, Eric McLaren of New Castle, PA, Jacob Troutman of PA and Matthew Troutman of PA; one sister, Kayla Cobb of PA and several nieces and nephews.
Brittney was a graduate of New Castle High School in 2006.  She was formerly employed at Walmart in Moorefield, WV.  More recently Brittney was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family.
 Brittney’s family will receive family and friends Monday, May 22, 2023 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg. 
  Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 23rd at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Schaeffer Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Hipp officiating. 
Interment will follow in the Walnut Grove Gardens Cemetery, Moorefield, WV.
