Betty P. Wheeler
Betty Jane Phillips Campbell Wheeler, 83, of Greenville, passed away at her residence on Saturday, October 28, 2023.
She was born in Goochland, a daughter of the late Mahaley “Ginny” Virginia Phillips Painter. She was raised by her foster parents, the late Buford Rucker and Corine Ramsey Campbell, and was raised in Greenville.

While her courtship with her husband, Leo Alvin Wheeler, was a short six weeks before they were married on New Year’s Eve of 1955, their marriage spanned nearly an impressive fifty-nine years.
She was kind to all and always tried to see the good in everyone - no matter who they were or their mistakes. She had a loving affinity for animals and especially loved her dog, Snitch.
Though she couldn't physically attend church anymore, she loved the Lord and read her Bible daily.
